Self-Pity:
I never saw a wild thing
sorry for itself.
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself.

Thanks Seth. You too. Just trying to be an responsible, married, Christian adult. I hate when some people don't get it that it's normal to make mistakes lol aka Parents. Oh well. Any big plans for Thanksgiving break?
I know I don't comment on this enough, but life is full of lots of stuff to do especially when one is in college. Right now I have 4 and 1/2 weeks left of classes this semester and I am looking forward to having winter break. Thanksgiving I'm off a week for school and my parents and I (and maybe my brother) plan to go to Ohio to see my sister and family over that holiday. I saw snow Sunday night driving back to school from Rockford, IL and it shows falls already over and that winter will hit hard this year. Oh and yes since the temperature is dropping, I have been baking stuff lately. I made apple-crisp first part of October and I made brownies on my birthday. I'm glad I was lucky enough to have parents who cook and taught me how to cook. Of course though, I do experiment on different types of dinners I can create. Now here are my 8 things since I was tagged.
1)I have been told before that I grew up in the wrong era because my dream car is a 1969 Chevy Chevelle SS. Either Illini orange or navy blue.
2)When I was little I wanted to be a firefighter when I grew up.
3)In my immediate family, I am the weird one in the bunch. I am the only one with a birthday ending in an odd number and I am also the only one to have a birthday toward the end of the year.
4)I never took a home economics class growing up and yet I know how to sew, and crochet and cook.
5)My senior year in high school after the football season was over, a couple of teammates from the football team and I started "Dress Up Because it is Thursday" where we would come to school in a suit and tie just because it was Thursday. It started with 5 guys doing it and went to a quarter of the school doing it by the end of the school year.
6)When I was about 9, I jumped off the house roof.
7)I am known to randomly funny lines from all sorts of movies.
8)I learned to drive through the many years I spent at my grandparents' house mowing their many acres on the riding lawn mower.
That is my list and I'm sticking to it. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here. So until next time WeeMan out!!
This has been enlightening.... Thanks for that. I love making apple things in the fall! So good. It just makes the house smell wonderful. I like "Dress Up Because It's Thursday." Though, I have modified that to "dress up because I am going out in public." There is just something about looking like you have it together when you go out for all the world to see. Have a great day!
I'm back from an exciting and uplifting time being on staff at camp this past week. It was great to see everyone again and to be able to spend a week learning from God's word. It was also fun to be able to play on a sports team. It was all around a great week of being with friends and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I hope to be back next year. Now I'm getting ready for another semester at Illinois State University to start the 18th of Aug. Where does time go anymore? Well that is all for now. WeeMan out!
I've been scheming behind your back. Wouldn't you like to come see me? In the summer there are lots of nice girls here to meet. (wink, wink). They all seem to disappear when school starts. Wish I'd thought of it sooner. :)
I just returned this weekend from Ft. Benning, GA and Airborne School. I graduated Friday with my jump wings. I know I may be crazy but I had a blast while I was there. I jumped out of an airplane 5 times from a height of 1250ft without getting injuried. God was watching over me and keeping safe. It was so hot there as well. I know I lost weight from the heat and running at least 4 miles almost every day. Now that I'm home I'm just relaxing a little bit. I don't know anything else right now. WeeMan out.
Well, my semester is almost over. I finish up a couple of finals next week so thats a stressing time. I became a cadet in ROTC last week so from now until I graudate I am nondeployable. Also being a cadet means that when I graduate from college I will commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. I'll most likely make a career of it but haven't decide to stay reserves or go active duty. I should know more before I graduate. I have a job here in Normal this summer working for a company that makes parts for Caterpillar. That should be a good time. You may be wondering about what I mean about jumping out of a plane this summer. Well I am going to Airborne Jump School in June for the Army. I know God will watch over me while I am there, but keep me in your prays as I jump from a perfectly good airplane. The next time I write on here maybe after I receive my "Jump Wings" Well that is all for now. WeeMan Out!
Ahhhhh!!!! I don't think that you could pay me enough to jump out of a plane! Good luck with that! I hope that it goes well and that you stay safe! You've got prayers.
{{Hi. I stumbled upon your blog via Ethan}} My husband jumped out of an army helicopter during basic.....but it was an emergency landing and not a part of training. LOL! Stay safe and thanks for all you do.
Hey Seth! This is Jessica Bose's(formerly Fencl's) little sister. Cant wait to see you at camp in the kitchen! Lol. Good Luck going AIRBORNE! Your in my prayers!
