i had a most excellent thanksgiving. once again, joolie'smom and dad opened up their home and i sneeked in and helped lessen their load of pesky thanksgiving leftovers. sad that i couldn't be with my mommy but mrs. vanhoose is a NINJA in the kitchen!!!!!
me and alfred got to drive up on thanksgiving morn. bright and early at 6AM. got back about 10PM and got to get up at 4AM. very good breeding ground for the cold festering in my lungs. worked from 5AM til 4PM on black friday, and then 6PM til 10:30PM. totally sick on saturday and they made me go home because they didn't want my sickness. but i feel better now!!!!
really glad the holidays are officially here ... its my favorite time of the year.
Hey Cal, if you dont mind could you email me with your current mailing address? (thewvroses@yahoo.com) thanks! btw glad you had a nice thanksgiving and hope you feel better soon!
Glad you enjoyed Thanksgiving, but you missed a good one at the DeGarmos' house nonetheless. Thanks for yoru sermon on Sunday as well. You had a great message and delivered it well.
me and dan went hunting this morning. i haven't been in a REALLY long time. i prefer fishing but i think i will pursue hunting more now :) well we seen a buck the size of texas but he was too far away. a doe walked right up next to the deer stand and proceeded to just hang out. all i could think was i can seeeee you but you can't seeeeee me :) anyway we was a hoping the doe would compel the strapping big buck to come close so dan could shoot him in the face with his arrows. plan did not work and as me and dan were discussing the pros and cons of shooting the doe, the doe promptly runs off into the woods!!!! curses!!! i told dan that she probably heard us talking about her and was flattered until she discerned that we meant to eat her flesh and hang her head on a mantle somewhere. then dan says "i am shooting the next thing i see." a brief pause. and then "even if its one of my dogs."
anyways i like hunting and am going back thursday. that is all.

It's incredible how he's consistently attacking. I've seen him taking some major wins, but some awesome loses as well. Praise God we see it's a battle.
how cold is it in Chillicothe, its been getting down in the teens here, snowing and looking colder for the coming week. Take care and be careful, love ya, Mom
Um, I went to make my own and didn't realize that you were still signed in and changed your playlist.
When I realized what was going on, I deleted the songs that I added, but also accidentally deleted a couple of yours, and I can't remember which ones were there.
way to jump on the bandwagon :) i like your mix, pretty good variety. i really enjoy van morrison. and yeah, the guy i'm seeing just introduced me to old crow medicine show, i really like them.
i have to preach on november 30th. not scared, just suffering creative idea blockage. and since we have twoawesome preachers i would like to fit in where i can get in. so give me your ideas for sermon topics. :) i would like to preach about disapointment in God, but the subject is too big for one sermon.

Eph. 2:10... How we are created for good works. And the practical application... what good works we need to be doing, ideas for how to start doing works if you don't already, etc.
Honestly, since you asked...I don't.
Especially if we have visitors. That issue is something that very few people are capable of thinking about, let alone hearing it from the pulpit.
I would recommend a lesson that is encouraging and filled with hope. Something to get excited about. If visitors are there, it's a "first impression" theme that you can't go wrong with.
There you have it since you asked. If you'd like to get together and work on an outline or something like that, let me know and I'd be happy to help!
wish I could be there, I do enjoy hearing you speak. I know I'm your mother but I think you have a great talent and knowledge for speaking about the truth....love ya and good luck.....
I guess it all depends if our hosts are kicking us out of the house and if we can find a place to stay through Sunday AM. If not, we'll be heading back to FL by Saturday.
